Stanley was a NFL draft pick, tough to beat those guys out. Heck even a 3rd rd. pick like CJ took a few years to overtake a 5th round pick Ruddock. Petras will be just fine.

What does the NFL have to do with how good you are as a college player? Stanley was an average at best CFB QB. His career QB rating is 131, he was completely immobile and he never completed 60% of his passes in a single season. Even Lanning could get a 130 career QB rating but he could at least run

NFL QB are uber talented, tough to beat those guys out.

Speaking of beating players out Purdy couldn't beat out a non NFL QB or a FCS QB either. Took injuries to get Purdy into the starting spot.

Lol

Noland wasn't hurt and Purdy was going to play even if Kempt stayed healthy

You never answered me. Why do you think the Oregon State kid will be good?

Yeah, I’m sure NC State is itching to show their 4* QB commit the door so they can bring in a small and slow QB with mostly Sun Belt offers instead.
Just looked at his 247 page. 6' even and a 5.01 40 time? Yikes. That can't be right can it?

Who else besides Banks and Beathard as a junior (look at the Big Ten QB's that year lol) have been second team All Conference or better under Ferentz?

It's crazy he has averaged 7 wins per year considering he struggles to evaluate the most important position on the field

And still got more P5 offers than Labas. You should really be concerned.

Labas would be the fifth highest ranked kid in isu’s class. Makes sense for clone to trash him. What does that say about the 9 players in isu’s class ranked below Joe?

It’s crazy that Stanzi and Stanley won more games at QB for Iowa than anyone in isu history.

Purdy couldn't beat out Kempt or Noland, he was handed the job because of injury and how bad and ineffective Noland was. I mean we are talking a non NFL guy, and a FCS QB here. CMC lost an all important Big12 game handing Noland the reins over Purdy. Against TCU CMC stuck with Noland and his 14-28 for 79 yards instead of going to Purdy. YIKES!
