I love spiders, and if I could go back and do it all over again, I'd study entymology. If I find a spider in the house, I just leave it. If my family finds it, I pick it up and let it go outside before they kill it.

Yes, my family thinks I'm nuts.

Burn the house down. Then make sure the insurance claims person hates spiders, too. They will hopefully understand and cut a fat check.

You move, don't pay your mortage, let the bank foreclose.

Now, it's their problem.

I congratulate all the male posters who have not, to this point, even once thought of or mentioned leaving it where their wife (sister, beloathed female colleague, etc) could find it.

Who says our civilization is in decline? This thread is PROOF that it is not.

Spiders and snakes give me the heebie jeebies, especially when I am out doing fieldwork. If I saw that in my house I would definitely kill it, assuming that I hadn't already keeled over dead.

These mother ****ers reproduce extremely quickly and lay up to 200 eggs in one sitting. Basically, if one gets in your house, you're ****ed.

Interesting enough, they weren't discovered until 2001 in Laos, and since then have been found in Florida and Hawaii. So they're getting closer.

Spiders and snakes scare the crap out of me. But go figure every time I watch Charlotte's web I cry like a baby.

Unrelated to creepy spiders, how do I a post a gif that animates in the message without being clicked on?

My mother and one of my sisters used to always hide fake spiders in the others house. Whenever I visit I am always ready to turn down the bed and see a spider in there somewhere.

So a giant *** spider went unnoticed until 2001?! So now I have even more reasons to never move to Florida and a reason to be thankful for the never ending WI winters. Wait, it can't survive winter, right?
