on the subject of hats. Our local 'sports store' has the UofI equivalent of this:

Has anyone seen an IState or other logo version of this? He sells the UofI one (with tigerhawk) for $30.

I like mine better. I bought a red I-State hat at Dogtown in Ames and was by far the best looking one I have seen so far. I think I paid $14.99 for it? Maybe $19.99 at most.

I really like that first hat. The I-State stands out a lot... kind of like those black and white TV shows/movies that leave certain things in color. It looks great.

I like the second hat better than the first, but Zephyr usually does a good job on hats - I can't wait to see more of what they come up with.

I'm so happy to finally see more of the new logo. The sooner companies can stop production of the old bird in a blender logo the better. We can finally say goodbye to our USFL days.
