+1 for Balvenie Double Wood. The stuff is fantastic, and most non-scotch drinkers I give it to love it. It doesn't have the odd flavors that turn some people off from many Scotchs.Balvenie is great scotch as well.
I recently received a $100 gift card from work, and have about $75 remaining on it. I would like to spend the rest on a nice bottle of whiskey. My favorites are Jack and Crown, but want to try something new. I was thinking of trying Johnnie Walker Green Label, but I like bourbon more than I like scotch, so I'm not sure if I'll go that way. Any recommendations?

Pappy Van Winkle is my personal favorite but it is hard to find anymore...
Massive amounts of fireball "cinnamon whiskey" and Busch light seems to do wonders in my neck of the woods
After looking at this site for 30 seconds, this guy is my new idol
Get a few bottles of this...
As good as any of the more overpriced bourbons out there.
Good suggestion. I've never had Cedar Ridge but have heard very good things
No kidding.. Here is a picture of his BOURBON (only) collection...
If you're getting multiple bottles, I would suggest 2 bottles of Buffalo Trace then. I love that stuff
