"The guy with the ladder". - lent it out to two different neighbors in a 3 day time frame

What sentence sums up how you truly think your neighbors view you, not how you want them tol
The fat *** with the hot wife and beautiful daughters. I guess you could say I'm the "WTF? Guy."

I have gone over there at 2 am and asked them nicely. They did nothing. After that, **** them. I haven't mentioned the beer cans and garbage thrown across the fence into my yard or large ruts left in my yard when they run out of parking space. And that was all before I started calling the cops on them. No respect for me, no respect for them.

If they park in my yard, I would not call the cops first. I would call a tow truck, then the cops.

Most of the neighbors, except one neighbor on the side, would say we're friendly. Probably less so than before, as a lot of our friends have moved on to their empty nest homes (we were the younger ones), and the neighborhood doesn't mill around as much since the kids grew up and out. We have a tolerate each other relationship with our neighbors on one side of us. But that's leaps above the relationship they have with most of the rest of the neighbors.

Define "early". In town, we used to wait until 9am before doing noisy outdoor chores, but if you live next to Cyclonepride and you've been partying till the wee hours, 9 might be way too early...

8:00 at the absolute earlierst but I try to wait until at least 8:30. Mowing is just one of those things I want to get done and out of the way. Do it before it gets hot, do it before you shower and get ready. It's just easier to finish it before you start your day.

I wait until the dew is off the grass, so the neighbors are safe.

My only neighbors within one mile are my parents and an older single guy that is a little sex offender-ish.

One of the reasons I love Iowa. People still cut their own grass

Roll up the sleeves and work

I am the house with the big guy who always drinks beer on his deck and has an ugly chain link fence. Before that I was the house with the big guy who always drinks beer on his deck who's dog's keep breaking their chains.

Other states don't cut their own grass?

Or they "xeroscape" like in Phoenix. The whole metropolitan area lives on borrowed (diverted) water, and watering grass/plants is a luxury. Desert plants and rocks for the most part. Not a lot of grass...except for the ubiquitous golf courses.
