How a Hawkeye feels about Hilton Magic

Talked with one of my die-hard Hawk buddies at work today, He says he can't stand all this Hilton Magic crap. There's no magic just a home court advantage. My response, I'm glad it upsets you, that makes me happy.

I like that they haven't won there since 2003. I hope we can beat them next year at Carver and then make it 3 in a row in Hilton in 2015. They lose Marble, McCabe and Basabe. I think they lose more than they think. After White's gone in 2015, they will be pretty average, IMO as recruiting hasn't been stellar.

It's because I was at the Michigan game but watched the Iowa game from my living room because the prices on Stubhub were so high.

Michigan game was louder throughout because we were able to make runs. Iowa did a good job at halting our runs. End of the game though...there was no comparison. Not even close

Taken as a whole, the Michigan game was louder.

At the end, especially the 2nd Gesell FT, Iowa was louder.

As someone else pointed out, Iowa stopped a lot of our runs, deflating. CA wasn't nearly as loud for Iowa as it was Michigan.

I thought it was pretty magical when an 80%+ free throw shooter missed both of his free throws to potentially tie/take the lead.
