Measuring up smaller than expected is definitely not something you want to do.You would think that NBA scouts would prefer this as well, as they can then evaluate the players properly for their actual size. I'm sure it goes as a check in the minus column at camps and tryouts when a player measures smaller than expected.

But if you go 3 or 4 years saying you are 7 foot, then the NBA measures you the way they do it and you come up 6'10 that's a bad look too.Measuring up smaller than expected is definitely not something you want to do.
