As we enter the home stretch of our 2021 season, I wanted to update you on the Big 12 Conference Tournament and tell YOU how you can watch us compete!
This season has been very short, and we have taken advantage of it -- competing on every available weekend.
Unfortunately, our trip to West Virginia earlier this month was cancelled after a couple of our guys became ill with what we've now learned was a stomach flu. Because of Covid protocols, we had to cancel the trip to make sure they were OK.
This weekend, we will be preparing by simulating the Big 12 tournament schedule of matches on both Saturday and Sunday.
We leave for Tulsa next Thursday March 4th at 9 a.m. with our 10 starters and 2 back-ups. Our line-up will be determined this weekend and published on Social Media next week!
The Big 12 tournament takes place on Saturday and Sunday (March 6&7). Tickets still are available at the BOK Center in Tulsa and you can purchase them in advance HERE.
The first three sessions of the Championship also can be viewed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, while the Championship matches on Sunday will be televised live at 5 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
We are required to stay in a bubble while in Tulsa, so we cannot have our usual ISU Wrestling social.​

Dresser should retire that Longhorn shirt. I know they don’t wrestle but still.

Any chance it is a VA Tech shirt. They got a sorta burnt Orange going as well. In either case, some cardinal and gold would win the day.

I would think 197 & 125 for sure.
Probably 184 also, but Dresser stated starters & 2 backups, so not sure
