Decided on da salmon. My welcome home to the USA was salmon from Chile and Dutch gouda washed down with French wine. And per the label, and I'll be damned, the crackers are from France. Pretty sure the potatoes were from the midwest. The fresh green beans? No idea. Either greenhouse or China, can't be sure but curious from where they get green beans 24/7 (mostly) a year.

Eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns & cinnamon toast. Dinner/breakfast of champions!

Bacon was the one item at the breakfast buffet at the resort that was really good. In spite of it being a buffet you could order bacon as part of it to be delivered to the table. They managed to hit the sweat spot of crispy but still soft each time. I am not a bacon freak but it was damned good.

Not exactly sure.
But like, how?
She refuses to put each item in the bag after each scan. So the bag doesn’t show weight and it calls for help. Or instead of putting the full bag in the cart she will pull it just forward enough to fill a new bag some. Issue is the bag is half on and half off so the scale is confused.

Is this at HyVee? I refuse to use the self checkouts there because I always have issues. I rarely use them anyway, but the ones at Target, Woodman's, Home Depot work fine for me. Never have problems with putting stuff or not in bags.

Dollar general closed there in the locals because too many people were stealing.

Self checkout is great for 20 items or less. Doing an entire cart takes forever.
