We spent nearly 4 hours in the WWI museum today. I think I learned more about that whole time than in my 10th grade world history class.

I'm glad we decided unload our tickets and head home...I've got a full-blown cold going on; I would have been miserable there.

That is a AMAZING museum. Where you walk over the field of poppies really sets the reality of it.

Came across the 70s (original) version of Cannonball Run saw about the last half of it. Wow there are a lot of cameos in that movie. And in true 70s style lots of cleavage. Pretty mindless but entertaining.

******* deer tore up my chicken wire fence again last night. Going out to repair and maybe cover with netting. Does not bode well for the summer and hostas and anything else green. Just WAY too many deer here.

I went midafternoon and ended up going back the next morning to do the upper halls and the tower. Yeah I'm a history nerd.

Just FYI on the tower: it’s closed until or through June for regular maintenance.
