Anytime you can pay $218/sq. ft. in Ames, IA you're doing something right.

Also realize the taxes will not be $150, that is tax on the empty lot. It will be reassessed and adjusted. Don't know the rates around Ames, but probably at least $6000.

Looking at comps in the area seems to be priced about right. Ames market must be doing pretty well.
