Exactly. Press conferences should be to announce news. Royce leaving early, or any player for that matter, is news worthy and there should be a press conference.

Calling a conference to announce you are staying is a ego maniacal, narcissist act. Not a surprise considering the pedestal these kids are placed upon.

My dislike for Harrison dropped as soon as CFH held his press conference.

Now all I care about is him announcing he is going to transfer to ISU to be with his "sick" family member so he can play next year to build his brand locally and win a national championship at ISU.

That's a big part of it for me too. I hate Roy Williams way more than I will ever hate HB. I just can't stand the guy and I've never liked UNC either.

If HB had gone to Duke instead, I would have cheered for him. (Cue the Duke haters.)


All in all, I just frickin hate Roy Williams.
