Just curious, were ISU fans just as adamant about a missed goal tend call that should have given KU another couple of points in the infamous Elijah Johnson game in 2013? Or are the only bad calls that don't count what happens at the end of a game or in Allen Field House?
Seriously, it wasn't egregious but ISU got almost every benefit of the doubt on Jan 17. Sorry, turnabout is fair play. Take your goaltend or whatever bias you feel is against the Cyclones, they still got walloped tonight. And, I know it is extremely difficult to grasp, ISU also got the benefit of some highly dubious calls tonight.
All in all Kansas does get quite a few additional calls at Allen Field House. That's just the way it is. I know many ISU fans fervently believe the Big 12 has spat on poor poor ISU and other Big 12 have nots and gifted Kansas games (and in the most extreme beliefs, titles). But Kansas also has well coached top flight talent that is well coached year in year out. You can get all the calls in the world, and you still won't win squat without that. Many fanbases, like ISU, are jealous of that, which drives the vast conspiracy theories and lack of respect.
It won't last (and many Kansas fans are in disbelief of that...Self won't be at KU forever, and there are a dearth of high end prospects in college basketball to replace him). But until then, it is what it is (which is not vast favoritism and bias by the Big 12).
