The idea my wife and I had fell through, so we're trying to find a last minute idea/place to look for costumes. The Halloween Botique in Ankeny had a lot of stuff but was expensive and very slutty. Anyone know any places on the West side of the metro with costumes? Thanks!

The other idea we thought was to be puzzle pieces or something more around the house-ish.

Tron is having a big party the night of the Kansas game. I am trying to talk my wife into letting us go as Santa and Mrs. Claus. So far, that hasn't gone over very well.

For the record, I've been trying to talk Tron into being Paul Rhoads.

Chris- Have her watch the music video of "Must be Santa" by Bob Dylan. If that does not get her in the Xmas spirit nothing will!!

Have your wife dress as a brick and you as the brick layer.

Best time I ever had on Halloween was when I was George Strait back in 2004. Great times. Rocked the Wranglers, bucket hat, carried around a guitar.

Theatrical Shop in Valley Junction is the place to go.

I am Michael Meyers every year, and the costume is legit.

I might be in Ames for the KU game, so look for me roaming around the north parking lots.
Please excuse me if I'm not all that engaging...have to stay in character. I will probably just stare and slowly tilt my head if approached.

Tape a bunch of Smarties candy packs to your pants, and you're a "Smarty Pants" -
if you want something cheap and easy.

Or give yourself a fake black eye, then paint a big letter "P" on a white t-shirt, and say you're one of the Black Eyed Peas.
