Nah...Young and and Glosser were really close. Young got a TD in OT last week. Although he didn't have many credentials, Glosser has developed into quite the load to handle. Very tough kid...can't say enough about him. Would start on a lot of Div 1 teams. Young has more offense though. Have fun tomorrow.

Keep us updated.

Carr over your old guy, RRS 2-0. One escape, one RT. He will meet Moody in the finals. I think this is a good match up for him. Moody not looking right today.

Wonder how this is spun now that Moody was higher on Iowa’s depth chart, but Carr’s easiest match of the day.

Carr had a lot of riding time also

Already stated Moody wasn’t looking right today so am guessing that will be the spin

Shapiro really needs to be wrestling in the open division. I think he’s going to be a good one!
Agreed. Missouri, NEB, Iowa, and us are sending top level recruits to the open division the last 2 weeks. He needs to be in there with the better guys. Think he will be moving forward, can't wait to watch him the rest of the year.

Agreed it was a good day. Sauer was right with hansen who is tough. Carr beat some good competition. Progression can be saw through out the lineup. Not where we need to be yet but it's coming.

I'd put Moody third on our depth chart but he beat the guy from Grand View in OT and some guy from Iowa Lakes by 1 point. Keegan Shaw pinned the guy from Grand View and had a better tourney than Moody despite placing third. I don't think Moody is better than Carr but he is usually a tough out and his hallmark is his scrapiness. Showed none yesterday. I think the cut to 57 may be a factor since he has wrestled 65 his whole career but who knows.

I don’t usually mind your posts too much but you have been a major douche in this thread.

Why do we care? Seriously. What is the point of trying to figure out where Carr is on the Iowa depth chart? He doesn't wrestle there. He's a true freshman. This is an ISU board.

Cael lost to Paul Jenn his true freshman year. He destroyed Jenn the following year and went 159-0. I would take the same results or close for Carr. I believe Spencer Lee and McIlravey also lost their first match as true freshman?
So let's drop it and get on with the season.

Although I don't think this tourney was as tough as it has been in the past, its nice to have some good depth at 41, 57, 84, 97 and Hwt. Something we haven't had a lot of the past few years.
