With all the recent talk about ads, I didn't realize the ads were in place until I used someone else's computer.

These threads are getting pretty annoying already. The one comment I will make is that they slow down my connection to CF VERY badly. Two sites I go to have Google ads and they both take forever to load now. Just started happening a couple of days ago. Every other site I go to loads up in a flash.

When I go to my CF.com bookmark, the initial page background loads, then the status bar at the bottom shows "connecting to googlesyndication.com" and sits there for about 30 seconds before the rest of the page comes up. Hopefully its something that Google is working on fixing.

As I said, all other sites I go to load in a flash. Broadband speed tests are showing normal. If its a problem with the computer I haven't found it.

Who writes these things? And more importantly, if you need an online quiz to tell you that you're gay, you're probably not.
