Didn't see this posted yet, good stuff from MM. You can tell by the quotes that this guy really has a team first, winners mentality. Gets me pretty excited for the future.

Awesome Read! Love that his focus is going to be Defense. We have the scorers we need, now we need to step up our defensive game. As they always say, Defense wins championships!

Something I've rarely said as a Cyclone...I'm really looking forward to next year, not because this past season sucked, but because it was great, and there is more to come.

Winning that Big 12 Tourney has got the chickensqawks down here in KC chirping early in this offseason... (about the "real" winners of the Big 12 this year.) Which, to me shows that they are worried about Fred and the Cyclones.
I want it all next year, Big 12 Regular Season Title - Big 12 Tourney Title - Final 4/National Title. (*The first 2 will really shut up those T-Shirt KU fans and have them really worried about an ISU takeover with the Mayor.)

As great as this season was, I think next year will be even better. Sweet 16 and a Big 12 title and being ranked in the top 15 what really more could you ask for? Not much, but you could tell the guys weren't satisfied with that. Hoiberg is going to get us to a final four in the next few years I'm confident. We could of made a run last year but that Aaron Craft buzzer beater/Babb injury and than Niang's injury. Cannot wait for basketball!

Morris totally exceed expectations last year by miles. I am sure he even surprised himself. Had a good/experienced group around him too. Really want to see him grow as it means great things for ISU MBB. Guards like Morris are invaluable. Smart play. Team oriented. And absolutely flawless with the basketball.
The tricks are starting to come for him as well. If he can add some "Tinsley" to his game and improve scoring ability - whoa - look the **** out.
