I wonder after quitting that job, if other places you apply will ask you why you quit, or if it will be a factor in hiring you?

I think that is a very cost effective program. If after going through the training program someone is willing to quit the job for $1000 they are probably not someone you would want on your staff.

The employee would probably cost the company much more than $1000 by not being fully engaged and it would also cost much more to get rid of them in the long run.

You would have to pay me more than $1000 to read SavvySugar.com daily.

The question is...how much do you really make at this job? There are a million call centers to work at. Go train there for 4 weeks, get paid, and take the $1000. Move on to the next worthless call center job. They won't care why you left the last one. Most of those places give bonuses if you stay a month.

Today at work......I would have paid my employer $2,000 to quit. Not a good day for an IT guy in Healthcare.

More workplace idiocy. Here's a concept: I work, they pay money. I don't need to "commit" myself to anyone I'm not married to, or who isn't a product of my marriage.

These kinds of creeping control freak stuff just tick me off.
