Plenty of booing going on early at the Phog.
I see what you did there.
Embiid is going to be a match up nightmare for us.
That Tech call is the kinda crap that makes KU fans think we boo a lot. What a load of crap.
Hmmm, good deal of booing at the 5:40 mark there. I swear they boo more than any fanbase in the nation.
Just turned it on. Who was called for the Tech & why?
Georgetown Forward. Smith I think is the name. Was posting up down low and pivoted in the lane. As he was making his pivot his elbows were up high to keep the ball up and make his shot. Elbow made contact with the KU defender in the head. KU player (think it was Black) had fouled him in the approach prior to the pivot move. Since the foul was called before he made the pivot the whistle had blown. The contact was then considered contact after the whistle so instead of a flagrant 1 became a Tech.
Thanks for the explanation. I'm getting kind of lost in the newer fouling definitions. Think I'm going to need to do some studying before conference begins. I don't want to look stupid!
Wiggins has played pretty poor in the first half.
He is surrounded by so many other 5-stars and talented players that it is too easy for him to be passive. Only one ball.
Wiggins looks more like Harrison Barnes than the next LeBron to this point in the year
I have found KSU and KU to be the most boo-heavy crowds in the country. Everybody boos, but there is something in the water in that state that takes them to another level.
Georgetown, here's a hint: BOARDS.
They did call a charge on KU, though. Kicked the kid right in the samosas as he went up.
Also taken poor shots and caused turnovers. He just looks pretty poor in this game so far.
Wow, Hope Ellis is alright, that freethrow was wrong!
Ellis got kind of crunched...hope he's okay.
Has to be a concussion the way he threw that free throw up.
No kidding. Hope it's nothing too serious.
KU trying to play with just "face power" or what?
