I'm a fan of spencer and truly hope that he is ACTUALLY good to go. Could just be trying to get back into shape but someone had mentioned there was some point in that match where his knee got into some situation and "the foot came off the gas".

Again hope he is good. Too good of a talent to have anything happen to him because he was rushed back into it.

(On a selfish level I hope that Tom and Jerry are using him wrong and he peaces the F out of there when he is finished with college when he realizes it. )

I’ve watched a lot of his matches and this kid is so good. Very high level wrestling at such a young age. He dominates nearly everyone. I think he hits a growth spurt but I can see him getting into a lot of college tournaments in the future to continue to test himself.

Frankly, the whole thing seems overblown to me. SL is coming back from extensive knee surgery and probably preferred to play it safe. Ayala said no and SL wrestled him straight up. If Ayala cannot stay off his back, that's his problem (and also his mother's apparently).

SL has always struck me as good character. Nothing here changes that. What's he supposed to do, play cat and mouse with a less capable teammate?

Disagree. If there's fault here, it's the fact that a top ranked program loaded all its athletes into a "home-cookin'" low quality event. And then--gasp--they had to wrestle each other. What did they think would happen?
