I'd love to see us press more. Not as a routine but for 3-5 minute spurts to see how the opponent reacts. It would have worked well against the TOE, IMO.
I have absolutely no idea why ISU didn't start the game pressing Iowa. They are just plan not good at handling the ball, and ISU was clearly outmatched in the half court. I'm sure that Prohm had his reasons, but it is beyond me why you would not try it, especial after the way the first half of the game went.
I don't have one, but I watched a game once where the team with more points was handed a trophy. Trophies are good.
Don't need to press. Just need to be bigger down low and better with ball movement. This is a young team that had probably been getting away with little things vs. bad competition and got stuck against an OK team needing to spark their own season.
