Because Sale has been fantastic, Thornton will be back in a few days, and there's no need for three lefties. The bullpen has been a strength all year. Just hit a rough spot with Putz and Thornton banged up.

You won't be able to get much in return until he comes back and proves himself again. He's an aging closer, and now has elbow surgery on his record.

Never know how the next month will play out. If Capps struggles you'll see them swap spots. If he does well down the stretch then you leave him in there.

That's a really good pick up for the Twins. Fuentes has always been a solid/consistent reliever. They're bullpen looks very formidable.

Won't matter if the starters are giving up 5 or more runs per outing. Still don't understand why they didn't try harder to get C.Lee or D.Haren???? :no:
