I know you can just mute something, but it's baffling whenever someone makes a youtube video for backpacking/fishing etc. that they have to include some generic rock music with it instead of the sounds that were actually included.

Good observation. Not to side-track our thread, but your mention of YouTube videos reminds me of my frustration with some sports-highlight montages in which the soundtrack overwhelms it. A backing track is OK but I want the main audio to be play-by-play call of the action.

I've stopped all of these things but I was weird with food as a kid.

Western dressing with steak.
Dipped pizza in chocolate milk.
White bread, buttered with sugar on top sandwich.
Velveeta cheese slice on a peanut butter & grape jelly sandwich.
Ketchup on macaroni & cheese.
Ice cream absolutely had to be "soupy" before eating. No scoops allowed.
Fried egg sandwich HAD TO be cut in half diagonally otherwise I wouldn't eat it.
Fried egg sandwich mentioned above could not have uncooked yolk and required cheese.
Spaghetti on garlic toast sandwich.
I mixed cereals for breakfast. Froot Loops and Honey Nut Cheerios??

(If I think of more I'll edit but like wtf kid)

Are you supposed to wear pants on weekends? I'm leaving work at 1:30 today. My pants are practically falling off at my desk as I'm typing this.

Oh, lord, I hope that's not a pickup line. I cannot unsee what I just thought.

The “sugar sandwich” brought back memories. Thank you for that.

I did the ketchup on macaroni and cheese thing a couple times when i was a kid. That one isnt bad. I usually stick to applesauce with it now.

Spaghetti on garlic toast is good stuff. Often with garlic bread i'll still put a little bit of the spaghetti in the bread and fold it up.
