Friday OT #2 - Interview With A Vampire

I was stuck thinking in terms of famous people, your mention of great-grandfather reminds my how I regret not doing formal recorded/written interview w/ my dad.

This. Think I'd interview my dad. I have only fragments of stories I remember but not the whole story for some. Should probably write down what I know as I am not sure anyone else even knows the stories in general. Nieces and grand nephews might be interested some day. I know the general story of how he got a Bronze Star in WWII, that's even in the unit history. Do not know the rest of other stories. He never told me what happened after they walked into a house near the end of the war and heard German hobnail boots upstairs. He was a medic and not a combat infantry guy so i am guessing it had something to do with drinking and maybe being somewhere they were not supposed to be in one of the divided cities where some were still fighting and some were not.

Thanks to @cyclones500 for this idea, too! I'm going to copy and paste:

A twist on the “have dinner/drink with…” theme: Suppose you’re a writer, reporter, documentarian or such. Who would you most want to interview for a Q&A? Living or dead. You may list up to three.

Hugh Hefner ( Took an idea Eve started and turned it into a fortune)
The Guy who actually killed Jimmy Hoffa ( Because we all want to know what happened)
David ( that guy could hit his target perhaps he could give this team some pointers on focus and hitting what you aim for so you don't get destroyed) (Too soon)
