Nope. Just regular sucking.

Projecting to the end of this season. Under Fran in 8 years Iowa will have won 2 tourney games in 2 appearances (play in games don't count). Average finish in Big 10 approximately 7th. A .480 win percentage in Big 10 play overall during his tenure. Almost no success in conference tourney and one flash in the pan NIT run.

8 years is a pretty big sample size for a coach. This is what Fran is; average. The highs are losing in the first weekend of the NCAA, the lows are what Iowa is right now.

Iowa has decided that mediocrity is what they are looking for, and Fran is the guy that can continue to deliver the stagnant program they so desire.
