What just happened?! Who’s fault even is that
feels to me like max was ******* around. if he intended to give up the spot, why’d he take off immediately after the incident and then hold the lead for 3-4 more laps?

Based on the radio message from his team Max screwed up.
They were saying he didn’t need to give the place back the final time I think. By then it didn’t matter though. Whole race was a mess, but the end of the season has been epic.

Yep, just dangerous and not prepared it seems like. Let’s make a narrow track with no runoff areas that also has them going flat out for 80% of the lap, what could go wrong.
Watch8ng some on board cameras, even when things were going well under green was intense. Just couldn't see anything around the next corner.

Neat track for time trials and hot laps. But 20 cars are the grid....
Woof.

Post race interviews were fun. Lewis is not a fan of Max. It’s gonna be an interesting week.

Max break checkee and did a mini swerve. He is lucky the FIA didn't clamp down on him for that
Fwiw it looks like the telemetry data shows that Max didn’t brake, he lifted off the gas and downshifted but didn’t brake.

He was 100 percent trying to pick up DRS but Lewis didn’t go around him.
