I've already got like 10 plays using Lanning as a decoy drawn up in my 2004-05 ISU planner at the office.

You have to think that they have some trickery drawn up for certain situations using Lanning at QB.

I really liked Lanning inside the 10 last year. Would love to see more running options down there this year.

Feed Lanning the rock out of the I. He follows his blockers as well as anyone on the team. Big body, faster than expected, could hit some nice seems when they stack the box and break off some big runs. Really excited about this season. So many amazing storylines for this year. It will be a season for the ages if we can get these seniors a win.

Sutton could be the key to Lannings snaps. Lanning will be the starting LB, but if Sutton quickly lives up to his potential that frees up Lanning to play a little more on offense every game. Not that I expect him to play a lot on offense either way, but he will get a few carries. When they know he's running he has the arm to bomb one deep. It'll be real interesting to see Lanning lined up behind Park on occasion too.
