CBS Analysis:

Big-time sleeper as an older prospect. Played and won up and down the line of scrimmage in college with awesome blend of burst, power, pass-rush moves. Unique body type. This is exactly what the Broncos needed after trading Shelby Harris to Seattle. Grade: A

With his size and athleticism I was surprised he didn’t get more pre draft hype, cool to see him go that early.

History sometimes repeats itself. In 2001, ISU DE Reggie Hayward was drafted 87th overall by the Denver Broncos where he played 4 solid years before cashing in on free agency and signing with the Jaguars:

In his years with ISU, Reggie anchored a DL, together with DT James Reed, who also was drafted #206 by the New York Jets in 2001 during an era when ISU became competitive again for the first time since the early 1980s. They also helped win the first bowl game for ISU with Sage Rosenfels at QB. Sage, of course, was also drafted #109 by Miami in 2001.

I think Rose will stick. Maybe not a starter, but he'll be on a 53 man roster (if not this year then within a few years)
