It is pronounced EDGE-um, not Eee-jum.:twitcy:
I don't like him as much now. Seems a little unathletic.
I heard Tj pronounce it "edge-um" in his interview on M&M last night. I immediately wondered if we all had it wrong.
Everybody? I knew it was Edge-um for months. Can't you tell when I type it?
Not as mind blowing as mar-kwez
I'd like to propose that we just call him "Johnny Monster Truck Dunk" from now on.
I'm a little rusty on my English. How do we get the sound of an "D" out of Ejim?
I beleive the "d" is silent in edge.
So Hoiberg was also pronouncing it wrong all day yesterday?
That's not a good sign. I would think the head coach should know how to pronounce his player's names?
I'm pretty sure I heard Hoiberg pronounce it Eee-jum as well
He's Canadian, who cares?
LOL this thread is hilarious! Eee-Jum or Edge-um oh well, Melvin needs a nickname!
Based on this new information, his nickname has to be Melvin "The Edge" Ejim.
Melvin "Edge 'Em" Ejim?
Perrault, is that you?
Everyone has been pronouncing my last name wrong too.
26?? That doesn't seem too hard..
You would be surprised.
It's pronounced twenty-seeks.
As long as the PA announcer gets it right I think we're covered.
