That article makes a bunch of lame excuses if you ask me. So what if the purple kitties were down a few starters to covid? Or they “couldn’t catch a break”? Their offense sputtered after the opening drive, and they had turnover problems? If you actually watched that game, it was clear none of that mattered. They could have been at full strength and clicking on offense, and Iowa State would have still handled them. The Cyclones brought their A game, and there was nothing K-State could have done to change the outcome.
