I just want ISU to go after it. Don't play into the dink and dunk BS more than you have to. Play your game Mouse. Oline needs to man the **** up. Linebackers here's your opportunity. You better lose yourself in the moment.

Hoofing it for three miles through the Ankeny residentials tells me that neither team's fans are too confident. Flying colors are almost at double bye week levels. I'm not too sure that gay pride doesn't outnumber both.

YMMV.

Campbell has really taken the air out of this game. He’s never embraced this rivalry and I think he’d drop this game from the schedule if he could.

I disagree. I recall that the staff has had some spats and such with Brian Ferentz in the past. I think both staffs hate each other.

It’s maddening how slow Matt’s teams start, and his record vs Iowa stinks. But I do think he cares and wants to win this one like any other game. The stubborn Groundhog Day scheme we roll out every year is so painful to watch.

I love Coach Mac and Paul Rhoads. They treated this game like the Super Bowl and had some big wins, but I’ll take Matt’s approach over theirs when it comes to full season performance.

I try to get excited every year, but watching us struggle against or flat out lose to ****** teams in week 1 always takes it out of me.

Makes you wonder what the F they are doing all spring and summer when they struggle every year in September.

WE DID IT!!! Overcame a bad first half and made an improbable field goal to beat our dread rivals! Was looking dead in the water but somehow we got the offense going just enough to win. Rest of the season is wide open, winning this game will always MATTER more than all others we play, just the way it is.
