Based on standings, Illinois and Iowa are the teams for us to beat. We should schedule Illinois sometime, I'd like to see that dual. However, being our first "real" tournament, this is a fantastic gauge for these squads. I just wish wrestling got tv time. :sad:

I really want to "mis" pronounce his name at meets so badly it hurts. "CY-ler!"

Seriously, I still think we should chant CY-LER (as in Cy the mascot) whenever he starts a match at Hilton. Next time I see him at work, I'll try and remember to ask him if that would upset him or not.

Will the Big 10 Network show any of it? It would be nice to get something out of that channel (I missed the ISU vs MN meet).

Just checked the schedule and it looks like they're going to show the finals Saturday night.

Will the Big 10 Network show any of it? It would be nice to get something out of that channel (I missed the ISU vs MN meet).

Where's the tourney placed at? If it's at Northwestern, it's possible. If not, I really doubt it.

It's in Evaston, Ill. but I don't know if that's NU's town or not.

The midlands includes non-collegiate, club, wrestlers and one of those happens to be the guy that beat Varner in the NCAA finals last year.
