Yes, I would think so. And I really think if we win the Big 12 tournament (defeating KU in the Championship game) we have a legit shot at a 2 seed.

I think not, while it puts the team in a great position for a 3 seed, most of the 3-5 seeds are still alive and good pushes deep into conference tourneys could be enough to push ISU down to a 4. 3 seed is fairly likely at this point but not assured imo.

I don't why Notre Dame should be a three seed.
Their SOS is 118.
They are 5-3 vs top 50.
RPI is 24.

Meanwhile ISU is:
SOS is 17
11-5 vs top 50.
RPI is 11.

For comparison sake:
Maryland's SOS is 54.
5-3 vs top 50.
RPI is 9.

Oklahoma's SOS is 18.
11-5 vs top 50.
RPI is 15.

Baylor's SOS is 3.
7-6 vs top 50.
RPI is 10.

Of those 5 teams, Notre Dame's resume does not match up with the other 4.
