I saw Tim Allen a couple of weeks ago and it brought back good memories of watching Home Improvement back in the day. Which lead me to think about TV shows that I loved as a kid, that if I saw the first two minutes of an episode today I would know exactly what happens in the rest of the episode.
For me I can think of 3 such shows. Home Improvement, Boy Meets World, and Saved By the Bell. What shows did the rest of you watch all of the time?
Not like today's stuff is much better. Not as lame as these shows look now, but still bad. The comedy sitcom is slowing dying off and it's being replaced by hour long drama's. As a fan of laughter this saddens me greatly.

The Dukes of Hazzard-
Could squeal tires on dirt...every major crook in the country just happened to be driving through Hazard. Every other car was a brown, or white POS.
The A Team- Mr. T wouldn't fly, but would get into automatic fire exchanges on a daily basis. Would find an Acet torch in a shack in the middle of Nicaragua every week. No one ever died. One time a chopper blew up, hit a cliff, fell 1000 ft, and they showed the two guys running out of it after it hit the ground in flames.
Miami Vice- Crockett and Tubbs, enough said.
Airwolf- the modified Bell 222 Helicopter still looks cool today. I think it crashed as an emergency Heli around 92 killing it's passengers. Stringfellow Hawke (Jan M Vincent) was the man!
Magnum PI- pretty much Hawaii 5O, Airwolf, Miami Vice, and The A Team wrapped up into one show.
Three's Company- there was always some big miscommunication that caused problems for Mr. Farley.
Gilligan's Island- they would find a way off, and Gilligan would screw it up. They would have fried his skinny arse up and eaten him in real life.
Seriously, quite possibly one of the greatest shows ever.My dad and us kids would never miss Cheers. When Coach and Woody were both on was the best.
Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care about time?
Thats actually the first thing I thought of. I liked Home Improvement a little bit but watched it more in syndication than when it was on.
Shows that bring me back:
Night Court
Quantum Leap
Fresh Prince
Seinfeld reminds me of college a lot but its never really not been on TV so the timeline is a little more blurry with that one.
