According to STL Post Dispatch it sounds like Rafael Furcal may be a Cardinal soon. They are smacking Ryan Theriot for his extended slump and the need for help. Smoke = fire???

Furcal has been in a slump all season plus the DL i think twice. Not sure if a good move for either team.

He would/should be relatively cheap to acquire, with low risk and a potential high reward. Anything to not have to see Theriot play SS ever again is okay with me. 2B is fine, but not SS. And as much as I'd love it, La Russa isn't going to play Danny D at SS full-time.
