I went there 3 years without one, considering the parking situation it didn't seem to hinder me

I drove ~35 miles round trip each day for 5.5 years probably 6 times per week.

The life of a commuter student at ISU was fun.

That being said, if you live on/near campus, you should not need one.

If you live on campus, you generally don't need one. If you live off campus and have a job you'll probably want one.

I voted no, but anybody looking for a decent used car let me know. I get a new(er) vehicle every 5 years and just did so. My older one is a '13 Fusion with 73k miles. I'm in E. Iowa so you need to be somewhat close. Very reliable. 32+ MPG. Drove it back from FL 2 weeks ago.

PM me if you're interested. Reasonable, not cheap.

Nope. I walked from Towers four years when CyRide just started going.

First ISU son bought one when got an internship that required one and made him able to afford one.

Current ISU son just got one for internship reasons. He can haul around his brother next year if he needs it.

Walking and biking helps prevent the freshman fifteen and other calamities.
