Defensive End Recruiting

IIRC, last season's recruiting class included three 3* DE's. As I understand it, the kid from Valley (McDonough I believe) has already bulked up to DL size. I don't remember the other two, but I have to believe (hope) that help is on its way across the defensive front.

'09 will be markedly different then '08 IMO.

I'd expect Jake to look a bit like Jordan Carstens--at DT. Laing and Maggitt should be solid contibutors, but with Taylor, Ferguson and (Nick) Frere graduating from the strongside, then Parker and Lyle (rush end) next season, we need help throughout the three-deep both immediately and long term.

Laing (strongside), Maggitt (rush) and Taylor Martin (strongside) are just the down payment.

i think Maggitt is going to be a very good pass rusher... he really need this redshirt year for S&C, but hes about 6'1" and if he can get up to between 225-235, with his speed he could be veryyy good
