However, the biggest of the quintet and perhaps the most skilled and speedy was David Carr of Dayton Christian. He blitzed his four opponents at 138 pounds in Division III by margins of 21-6 technical fall; pin in 1:13, another technical fall 21-7 win in the semifinals and a 7-3 win in the finals against rival Delta wrestler, Dustin Marteney; a three-time placewinner. Standing matside during his match was his father Nate Carr, a NCAA and World Champion!

Nate was a good guy. Always friendly when I saw him. First class guy and first class wrestler.
