That's a pretty nice arrangement for a game selected on the LHN.
Nice to have that one available through our own guys instead of theirs.
Fortunately I live close enough that I can still watch this game in person, but this sucks pretty hard for all the alumni and families who don't live in Iowa or Texas.
every FB game in HD and on a carrier that is at least regional to the conference.
Beat at them all State...beat them all.
I don't think the Big 12 should allow the Longhorn Network to broadcast any conference games.
I'm glad it's not JUST on LHN and we get our own broadcast team.
Chris Williams and Brent Blum PBP and Tron Smith on the sidelines - make it happen!
This out of state blackout stinks for the remote Clones.
But I'm not sure I can handle that crazy camera work on Cyclones.tv for two games. Whew. Here's hoping there's improvement in that area
So only those people inside the State of Iowa and those who have the LHN will be able to view the game. Thats BS.
When will ESPN learn that the LHN is not viable and switch it to the Big 12 Network? Even if it still airs 50% Texas ****, I wouldn't care, but make it a conference network so its available on Direct TV, etc.
LHN is available on DISH Network. I just made the switch and as a guy that loves college sports and doesn't really care about the NFL, its a much much better choice.
I've now got WatchESPN access and have the PAC12 and SEC networks. DirecTV as the 'sports king' is such a myth, unless you have to have Sunday Ticket.
So being in CA, I have no options to watch the Texas game? Seems like a downgrade from last year when I was able to get them all.
LHN is on Dish now. Pretty decent carrier list actually.
I'd be totally fine with it if the Cyclones.TV feed was available to those who were outside the state, but I understand why it isn't.
I am assuming the camera work will be identical to the LHN feed?
Awesome, no Texas game for me.
I have been thinking about making the switch to Dish as well.
if we played at Texas last year you wouldn't have been able to watch it either
Is the LHN broadcast only being shown in Texas if the Cyclones.TV broadcast is only being shown in Iowa?
Looks like I'll have to watch it on some janky internet stream.
Find a sports bar with Dish, you'll be golden pony boy.
I'll be going to that Texas game so I wont have to worry about TV, phew.
Me too, I prefer college sports to the NFL and as a Broncos fan I think something like 14/16 games were on tv here...Unless we get better in football I can see us and Kansas going back and forth every other year being the Texas game on LHN.
Last year the game was on ESPN
