Not to cut into the AL celebration but just saw this great view of DM's 57-yarder. Worth a look.
I hate the bears running scheme. Need to get Montgomery in space. They need an inside bruiser to complement him.
Can the Bears trade Montgomery to someone who is competent.
At the very least, some variety in how they use him. He's a decent receiver; I'd like to see him get some wheel routes etc.
Chicago line is just soooooooooo bad. I've never seen a pocket just get squeezed shut so fast.

Trubisky and the Bears OL are awful. During their 2nd best drive, DM was wide open & Trubisky decides to throw into triple coverage? Same type of thing he did all last year. Wish David would be traded to a decent team.
As a Bears fan it is beyond mystifying that they traded up to get Trubisky. Wish they had a competent QB and OL to compliment DM. Montgomery deserves better.
If I was the bears I would invest in OL and, I hate to say it, a feature back. I just don’t think Montgomery is an NFL feature back but could be a great specialist like James White for the patriots. Bears should retool offense base around run game incorporating Trubisky’s running skill and run lots of play action reads to limit his mistakes.
You can’t say Montgomery isn’t anything until he plays for a team with a better line and semi competent QB.
DM is having a great first half. His two pass receptions have gotten first downs and he's been running hard.
There was a decent pass to the outside with DM.
Montgomery is so good in the passing game. Shocking they don’t use him more.
