In Talen Horton-Tucker's first NBA start, he put up some decent numbers. I wish I could've watched it. The important thing is that J. Uthoff scored 8 for the Wizards today and we wanted to make sure to surpass the Hawkeyes' scoring totals between Talen and Georges :)

Talen's line: 34 MIN, 14 PTS, 6-15 FG, 2-5 3PT, 4 REB, 3 AST, 3 STL and 2 TO.

LeBron James did start the game and played the first half so it wasn't a summer league game. As the #1 seed, they won't know their opponent for 5+ days (something like that). I hope THT has done enough to get some minutes in the playoffs.

Good finish off the sweet assist:

Georges' Jazz have their final regular season game today on ESPN at 6:30 PM ET / 5:30 PM CT vs. San Antonio.

As it stands now, the Jazz will face Denver in the first round of the playoffs (3 vs. 6). San Antonio is fighting for the chance to taking on the #1 seed Lakers.
Just to clarify, San Antonio trying to get into the 8/9 seed game.

Yes, they would've played the 8/9 to try to get to the Lakers. But they were eliminated before the Utah game began.

Georges is getting some buckets tonight. He might be done for the night though.

It looks like the Nuggets / Monte vs. Jazz / Georges playoff series has been scheduled. It starts on Monday (8/17) on ESPN. (NOTE: Times there are Eastern)

Georges' regular season ended with a decent performance (and a Jazz win over the Spurs). Most of the starters played about a quarter and Georges played well into the 3rd quarter before Utah's 3-stringers / G Leaguers finished out the game. In the 3rd quarter especially, it was fun to see Georges in without many rotation players because instead of just looking for 3-pointers, he actually did some playmaking (he hit a couple runners off drives, for example).

Niang's final regular season line: 22 MIN, 13 PTS, 5-10 FG, 3-8 3PT, 5 REB, 2 AST, 1 TO and +13.

Cyclones in action today (final game of regular season for all of these teams). In all cases, their playoff fates are set so bench guys could see a lot of minutes:

Denver / Monte vs. Toronto / Matt at 1:30 ET / 12:30 CT. No national TV
Miami vs. Indiana / Naz at 4:00 ET / 3:00 CT. ESPN
OKC / Abdel + Deonte vs. LA Clippers at 6:30 ET / 5:30 CT. ESPN
Philly / Marial vs. Houston at 9:00 ET / 8:00 CT. ESPN

Is Nader hurt? Don't see him on the live box score.
He's not hurt that I have heard. He played their last game and he was in the box score when the game started. They might just want to get some minutes for other guys like Ferguson who missed some games.
