I don't know much about this league except that they start playing in a month on CBS. I didn't see it posted anywhere else so I looked at their rosters and this is what I saw:

    Arizona Hotshots:
    #25 Kamari Cotton-Moya DB

    San Antonio Commanders
    #43 Joel Lanning LB

I've heard he turns their practices into a veritable dog fight.

    I'll show myself out...

Curious to see how this goes. I know Terrell Owens, Ricky Williams, and a handful of other former NFL players (won't disclose their names yet because they are in good standing with the NFL) are starting their own league too. I know for that league fans can purchase season tickets and they get a share of the team (the better your team, the more you get paid, is the vision they have for fan shares)

I find the whole "new leagues" interesting and love that they are doing it in the NFL off season. I was surprised by the types of players, seemingly, that are in the AAF to start. Seems like they have fielded somewhat legit squads.

He had this on his Twitter feed this fall. Maybe he didn't make it?

Biggest problem is he could only pass to the left.

He was planned to play with the team in Memphis iirc. Just looked and it doesn't seem like he is listed. Wonder what happened/ where he is.

    Hey everyone,

My name is Daniel and I run Memphis AAF which is a blog/podcast dedicated to the Memphis team. I conducted that interview with Jacob so I thought I would come on here and clear up a few things.

Jacob was never signed to Memphis or any AAF team. He came on the show hoping for a shot and to get exposure. Unfortunately, things didn't work out and he didn't make a team.

He's currently weighing his options in hopes of making a team.

Yeah, he was signed with Memphis but left to play in the NFL.
