AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State men's and women's cross country team head to Iowa City, Iowa, Friday to compete in the Iowa Black and Gold Invitational. The open-format meet permits teams to field more runners than the typical seven and will allow coaches to get a better picture of where student-athletes are in their progressions.
