AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State softball team (15-15, 0-1 Big 12) fell to No. 19 Baylor (29-7, 3-0 Big 12) in its conference opener by a score of 16-4 on Friday at the Cyclone Sports Complex. The loss came despite senior Sammie Hildreth staying hot at the plate, hitting a solo home in the second inning, her third in as many games.
