I’ve already been looking at the home schedule. I’ve been wanting to get into ISU softball and now I have no excuse not to

#2 Oklahoma just beat #11/13 Arizona State 5-3. ISU will face ASU tomorrow at 6pm CT. ASU athletics website will have a live stream available for free.

StPaulCyclone, thank you for creating a thread for the softball team! Please keep the threat title updated. The softball is going to do great things this year and the ladies deserve more fan support and media attention.

Tough loss against a good opponent. Sami with 2 HR bombs and 3 RBIs. I trust the ladies will bounce back tomorrow and come home with a 13-2 record.

Not exactly sure.
Had forgotten that we had a decent overall record 2 years ago and won some tournament games. Pick up a couple more games than that year and are .500 or better conference wise. Ladies are doing very well.

I assume games are free? Thinking the same thing.

They were charging when I used to go, but that was like 20 years ago. It was probably less than 5 bucks and if you told them you didn't have any cash they would let you in for free. Good door prizes and a great way to spend a couple of hours. The field was literally in my backyard off Hayward.

I wasn’t sure with the new facility. If they are limited, I wanted to buy early.

We used to live in the house next to the Fraternity across from Tim Capp Field, baseball was free then and people used to bring kegs and ask if they could put them in our yard. We would always say yes, but only if we can drink from it. Was never a problem.

I don’t have any info on tickets, it’s not listed on cyclones.com. Probably a few dollars at the door. They will be pleasantly surprised with the turnout on March 26th. People like me are just itching for an excuse to sit outside and watch a game.
