This is the series I've been closely following. JMU is such an underrated team. They will be facing OU in the opening round of WCWS. Amazingly, each team only lost 2 games in the entire season.

Lol Missouri, not at all sorry Missouri lost! They were gifted the #8 seed. At best should have been maybe #12-#15. The Regional was one of the weakest. Sorry to say because we were in it but JMO. Than got James Madison in the Super at home and got beat soundly today. James Madison is no doubt very underrated! The program has been solid for the last 10 years and is much deserving. They probably should have been hosting a Regional this year.
James Madison reward is Oklahoma in game 1 of CWS. That game will be interesting looking forward to it.
Down year For the ESPN/SEC Conference but they still have Alabama who could win it all. Going to be fun and OKC is going to be rocking!
They added a second deck to the stadium for this year. That should make for a pretty cool atmosphere.

We definitely knew we had our work cut out for us against JMU this past weekend.. They were, as expected, a very good opponent. They generally play a really tough non-conference schedule, but budgetary stuff and Covid really scaled it down this season. I thought our edge would be that they haven't really been tested much this year, but they responded well. It's cool that they are getting their due this year at the WCWS. They've been close before and so it really shouldn't be a shock to the national softball community.

One of the biggest upsets in softball tournament history! James Madison just defeated OU in the 8th inning 4-3. What a start of the WCWS.
Crazy! Great game by Alexander! Only 3 hits for JMU but 2 big moment HR's. Long road for the Sooners now
James Madison goes into Oklahoma City and beats both Oklahoma teams. That's just impressive.
