Got a tweet from Gordon Wittenmyer (Sun Times @cst_cubs)...

Ramirez is day to day with a strain. No DL.

Bradley still day to day, but not playing.

Marmol had an MRI which revealed a "grade 1" strain. Will throw bullpen Monday, possibly midweek return.

    This isn't good.

Today we have Fontenot @ 3rd, Reed Johnson in CF, and Miles @ 2b.

Soriano in the 3 hole again today.

I'm really not liking the start to this season.

Hill was a VERY GOOD third baseman in college... He didn't start catching untill the minors.

Thanks for that info... I didn't know that.

With our luck Soto will get hurt and Zambrano will end up at third... that would be something.

I got to watch Koyie develop as a catcher, those first couple of years were tough to take...

I played against him in college and have hung out with him quite a bit. He and my brother came up through the Dodgers organization at the same time/levels.

Yeah, D Lee left in the first inning with a neck strain and then Soriano got beaned in the side of the head later in the game. He stayed in the game, though. Yikes...
