A few comments on this.
1. We have 7 prospects in the Top 100 Prospects list that the MLB produces. Not sure if they've produced this list yet, but they've come out and said the Cubs and I believe Pirates had 7. Twins had 8.
2. Dan Vogelbachs bat could make him the next David Ortiz. Unfortunately, his glove sucks. So I'm thinking this is the year we trade him for something really good. I would bet we either see a top pitching prospect, or a number 2 pitcher in the MLB come for him.
3. What really sets me off about Theo and Jed this offseason is the only thing they've said they want is a lefty catcher. What the hell is wrong with Wellington Castillo? He was one of our best producers with a bat last year and he's a top 5 defensive catcher in the NL.
4. Went to Chicago over the summer. Went to Wrigleyville at 10:00 AM for a 7:05 game just so I could talk to Cub fans at the bars and see what they think. Everyone I talked to hates Theo and no one buys into his system.
