2016 schedule.

Iowa plays at HOME

Nebraska
Michigan
Northwestern
Wisconsin
------------------
On the road

Minnesota
Purdue
Illinois
Rutgers

truly astounding.

ISU and Iowa's 2016 road schedule using last year's Sagarin rating:

Iowa: 96, 58, 94, 37, 71
ISU: 17, 8, 19, 35, 107

The people who think Big 12 and Big Ten West schedules are even remotely comparable have their heads in the sand. And this is during ISU's EASY Big 12 road schedule where we're rotated to just 4 road games with OU at home.

Love the chest pounding from the Iowa pukes. There will be a day again when Iowa is a big ten laughing stock. Look at Nebraska, and they actually have a long rich history that goes back farther than 1981.

And if you were older than 18 you'd look farther back and see that our history goes back to the 1950's. Google is a wonderful source.

Nebraska is a laughing stock? They've averaged 8.6 wins a year over the last decade. Not sure what the goals are for your team but feel free to sign the Hawks up for that anytime.

Yes and no...the '50's were GREAT for the Hawks but the '60's and 70's were a bad stretch. Worse than any 20 year span for ISU I do believe as far as winning %. The timing has been great for Iowa no doubt, the Boomers got hooked in the late 50's and their kids were reinforced by the '80's

In the sense that I laugh at UNL fans who think they're still "Nebraska" or will be again soon yes, they're stock for laughter. Also, going forward UNLs stats reside squarely in the B1G (no need to bring up the last decade). Just like Pedo State they left their glory behind them after they joined the B1G.

Thanks for the kind words about the B1G.

2 traditional powers, Nebby and PSU, have had minimal success when compared to their overall history since moving to the B1G.

Nebraska wasn't very good at the end of the Big 12, they went from the Big 12 North to the Big Ten West, two of the worst divisions in college football history

Penn State was an Independent, and has not been bad in the B1G. I would blame the cluster **** that happened with Sandusky more than them being in the Powerful and Mighty Big 10 (14). I guarantee that Notre Dame would have some drop off in annual success if it were to join a P5 football conference.

Nebraska was a tenth of a second and a Mack Brown temper tantrum from winning the Big 12 in their 2nd to last season in the conference.

Remember, remember, the 4th of September: Bo Pelini Day. Last season for the Huskers was not one of those 8.6 average years, though, so hopefully that doesn't turn into a trend for them. I honestly don't follow them very closely, but I haven't seen much reason to be excited about them bouncing back this year, either.

They had 9, 10, and 10 win seasons their last three years in the B12. They shared or outright won their division each of those seasons. They represented the B12 North twice, losing by a combined total of 4 points to Texas and Oklahoma.

You mean the year they lost to ISU at home and avoided Texas and Okie State in the regular season? Suh was a beast in that title game though

Winning the Big 12 North might be a bigger accomplishment than winning the Big 10 West but neither are impressive. They lost 12 games in their last 3 years in the Big 12 playing in a weak division

Right, the year they played Texas in the title game.

And we can also thank Nebraska for giving us the "So Proud" moment.
