I liked how we went to Army's fanbase after the game, and then Army returned the favor when ISU sang the ISU fightsong to the students. Classy event done by classy people on both sides!!

Couldn't agree with you more. Anytime you get the chance to play one of the service academies it is just a little bit different then your average game. Those men playing for Army are definitely some of the classiest guys around. That goes for all service academies in fact. They get it just a little bit more then most. Their display of sportsmanship and class goes far above and beyond the standard and that is what makes it so easy to cheer for these men on the battlefield of college football as well as the battlefield they will see when they graduate. Good luck to Army the rest of this season and beyond.

I got to see this and this seriously gave me the chills and still does. It was so awesome to see the 2 teams that tried beating the hell out of the each other on the field, come together after the game to hear both songs. Good luck Army the rest of the way!!

What a great gameday experience. I will take that atmosphere over an ISU/Iowa feel anyday. There was absolutely no BS that game. Great to see.

    I agree.

I also liked their truck. If you didn't see it the truck had BEAT NAVY cut into the front bumper and it was lit up at night...imagine that in your rear view mirror coming down the highway.

Army is a class act. If we went into conference play at 3-1 I would have preferred to have beaten Iowa and lost to Army!

Agreed and there was 0 trash talk on the field between the two teams. I did not notice and taunting or anything.

Everytime Army had a good play, you would hear a few scattered cheers around you. Now, normally I would look at the person like they are total douches. But yesterday you'd look to the left and right and see uniformed soldiers sitting in the stands. Hard to really get ****** at a fanbase whos colors are camouflage.
Man, that was a fun night.

Man, I really wish I could have been there. I wish more games had that level of respect and class.

the class was awesome between these two schools, however what was up the amount of people wearing hawk stuff at the game. I saw at least 15 people wearing hawk shirts and hats.

So Iowa coming out on the field the same time as us was also pretty cool?

Amen to that! It was a relaxed environment and there was respect shown at every turn in Jack Trice. Makes me start to not want to play those mouth-breathers to the east. Their fanbase is hands down, the worst one I've come across.

    GO ARMY!! BEAT NAVY!!!
